Does Akamai Home handle all the services included in the White Glove package, or are these services contracted out to third-party providers?

We will handle basic preventative maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and light maintenance. For more complex services, such as HVAC tune-ups, we will collaborate or subcontract with preferred service providers. Alternatively, homeowners have the option to select their own service provider for these specialized tasks
Does the White Glove package entail personal management of projects, general contractors or sub contractors during any remodel or renovations?

No, Akamai Home’s purpose is to ensure your current home systems are being maintained as needed to ensure proper efficiency and functionality. However, The Hombinder Platform that comes with all Akamai Home packages does have a powerful tool to assist in the management of these types of projects
What happens to the information in the Homebinder Platform if we move?

When you decide to move, the Homebinder platform transforms into a valuable sales tool for your realtor and offers significant benefits to potential buyers. With the platform, you can generate a seller's report that showcases various aspects of your home. You also have the option to transfer the binder to the buyers, providing them with comprehensive information about the home's systems and a detailed history of repairs, remodels, and maintenance. This allows buyers to easily assess the age of systems, identify the most recent servicing, and even view the companies that performed the services
How will I be billed?

Billing for the Home Starter and Essentials plan is a one time fee that includes a one time consultation and set up of the Homebinder Platform. White Glove plans will be billed annually for the management component of the service. Any services rendered will be billed separately. These services will be billed either directly by Akamai Home or directly to the sub contracted service provider. Payments methods accepted: Credit Card, Check, Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Chase-Pay, ApplePay.
Is Akamai Home insured, and do they also ensure that subcontractors they use are adequately insured

Yes. Akamai Home and its subcontractors carry business liability insurance.
